When you upload images to your flashcards or profile avatar, these files are stored in public storage buckets for performance and accessibility reasons. This means:

  • Uploaded images are accessible via direct URL without authentication
  • You should avoid uploading sensitive or private images that you do not want to be potentially accessible
  • When you delete a flashcard or your account, associated images are also deleted from our servers

We recommend only uploading educational content such as diagrams, graphs, formulas, and study materials.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate our app and generate content:

  • Google OAuth: Used for user authentication.
  • Supabase: Used for database hosting and secure data storage.
  • OpenAI: We use OpenAI's technology (via CustomGPT or API) to process text and generate flashcards. Data submitted for flashcard generation is processed by OpenAI in accordance with their privacy policy.
